What Time is Check-In?

Check in time is 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm (Please call if you plan on being later than 8:00 pm)

What Time is Check-Out?

Check out time is no later than 11:00 am. Additional charges may apply if you have not left your room by that time (Or we may put you to work doing the dishes and vacuuming :)

What is your Reservation and Payment Policy?

Reservations are required. In order for us to accept a reservation, you must have a valid credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Credit cards are not charged until the date of your stay. You may also pay by check, but the check must arrive at Loose Moose Lodge two weeks prior to your stay. We also accept cash. When paying by cash you will receive a 10% discount off the price of your room. This discount may not be combined with other discounts or promotions.  Please note that there is an 8% Sales Tax and a 4% Occupancy (Bed Tax) that will be added to your room rate total. 

What is the Cancellation Policy?

All rooms are held with a valid credit card number. If you must cancel your reservation, we require a 14 day notice prior to your scheduled arrival date. This will allow us time to try and re-book your room to someone else. Late cancellations will result in your credit card being charged the full amount of your reservation ONLY if your room cannot be re-booked.  (But Scout and Loose Moose really hope you do not cancel, they really want to meet you :)

Do you Allow Children?

Loose Moose Lodge loves guests of all ages but we want to respect all our guests needs. The majority of our guests are looking for a quiet escape a romantic getaway. If you are planning on bringing children under the age of 16, we require that you must reserve ALL THREE rooms. In the event that that you are looking for a reservation and one or more of the other rooms are reserved, we will not be able to accept your reservation. Please tell us at the time of your inquiry that you are planning on bringing children so we can determine if availability will be possible. 

Do you provide Child Care?

Sorry, no.  There is no child care available at Loose Moose Lodge.

Do You Allow Pets?

We love hearing about  your furry family members, but unfortunately we do not accept guest pets into our home.  Our lovable, Furry Innkeeper, Scout the Dog, will make sure to give you as much doggy attention as you want during your stay. If you are planning on traveling with your pet, please notify us in advance and we can provide you with a list and phone numbers of the kennels near us. There is even an K-9 Bed & Breakfast nearby! All kennels in our area require proof of vaccinations and for your pet to be on flea and tick medication in order to be accepted at the facility.

I Have Pet Dander Allergies, are the Bedrooms Pet-Free?

Yes!  Even though Scout, the Furry Innkeeper is great at shedding, he is not allowed in the Bedrooms. (Although he really would love to be in there with you :)   We vacuum daily to keep up with the fur.  Also he loves being outside, so if you start getting stuffed up, we can make sure you have minimal contact (although Scout will be super sad about that :)  

Where Can I Smoke?

Smoking, Vaping and enjoying your Cigar is only allowed outside in a designated area on our covered back porch.  There are comfy chairs and ashtrays to use.  Scout is usually relaxing on the edge of the porch and will keep you company.  Also, you may also be entertained by the Birds enjoying the Suet on the Porch.  Some of the regulars are the Chickadees and Downy Woodpeckers.  

What if I have Special Needs?

If any of our guests have any special requirements for things such as food, medical or physical needs, please let us know when making your reservation. We will do everything possible to be accommodating.  Please be aware that we have a gravel walkway and stairs to get up to the front door.  

What if I have Food Restrictions/Allergies?

We do our best at trying to provide you with the best and most delicious breakfasts possible. If you do have any food allergies or specific foods you can not eat or do not like, please tell us at the time of your reservation. This will allow us to provide you with a breakfast to meet your needs.
